Professional Development Short Courses via LABNET TEN and IPTV

Register for Upcoming Short Courses

Los Alamos National Laboratory subscribes to the Professional Development Short Course Project of the National Technological University (NTU). These courses are no longer broadcast via satellite but are available for us to broadcast to your desktop using LABNET Channel 10 and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV). Short courses are open to all LANL workers. To assist us in course selection, an online voting mechanism is provided (above). Please vote for the courses you want us to bring to the Lab. This is the only way the Short Course Team can determine which classes to select.

After the online voting establishes the LANL customers' priorities, the Short Courses Team will set the dates to broadcast the courses on LABNET 10 and IPTV. We will post the schedule on our Web-presences and send you an e-mail that provides a link to the registration when the course broadcast dates have been established.

Courses are typically two to six hours and will be offered over LABNET Channel TEN and at your desktop computer using IPTV. For those of you who prefer to come to a classroom, we will also provide Canyon Complex Rm. 165 during the broadcasts so you can take this course in an "undisturbable environment". Courses are offered at no cost to LANL workers.
