Unusual Occurrences

Unusual occurrences on your system may signal a virus or break-in. Any unexpected screen activities, frequent system crashes, or anything else that seems unusual when operating your system or accessing your files may signal a problem.

Unless there is reason to believe that the anomaly may spread to other systems, do not turn off your computer. The only exception is if your computer is contaminated with classified information.

If that happens, immediately contact your OCSR for assistance, disconnect the system from the network, and move the system, if necessary, to a secure area!
