Protecting Your EmailAlways be mindful that email on the protected unclassified network should never be used for transmitting classified information. Contamination of unclassified systems with classified information via email is a severe cyber security incident. Sensitive data can be sent via email but care should be taken to verify the recipient's need-to-know and to notify them of the data's sensitivity. More information on LANL's various networks and protecting sensitive information is presented later in this course. |
